"But, I'm sorry, Dad. I promise not to steal anymore."

George Müller received his punishment. But he stole again, steal again, stealing again - until his life changed by Christ.

His mother died when he was fourteen years old and that time he was in school. On the night when her mother died, unaware of the disease with his mother, George was playing cards. On Sunday, the next day, he spends his time together with some friends at a tavern.

Not long after he was baptized in a Lutheran church. His father had given him a lot of money to pay a shepherd his flock. But the wily George gave the pastor of the church was only twelfth of the amount of money. "I will apply the better," he promised himself when he was attending services. But his decision was in vain.

The following year, his father moved to the town of Schoenebeck, Prussia. He left George alone in her old house to oversee improvements in his house and study with a pastor, because George has made the decision to learn to be a pastor. But when the tax gatherer it go, George is busy with another job. He collects the money the people in his village that owes to his father, then he made a later trip he called "sin six days."

When his money has run out, he moved to an expensive hotel, stay a week, then fled without paying the fare-fare. He moved to another hotel, stay and have fun a week, then get ready to escape through a window. But this time he was caught. At the age of sixteen children taxer was jailed for twenty-four days.

He felt guilty when he took part in the Lord's Supper. "But one or two days after taking part in the Lord's Supper, I apply just as bad as before," he wrote in his diary.

When he was twenty years old, he was encouraged to study at the University of Halle, and given the right to preach. When in Halle this time he realizes that he must improve if only there is a church that chose him as a shepherd his flock. At that time he considered the priesthood service solely as a good livelihood, not as a service to the people who need help.

He met a friend of students, called Beta that life as exemplary Christians. George chose Beta as a close friend, thinking that he improved his life with a Christian friend. But Beta is a Christian who returned to do evil and he was friendly with George just because he thought George would take him to the pleasures more.

In August 1825, George Müller, Beta and two other students, pawned some of them to earn enough money to travel for several days. When one of those students were proposing to go to Switzerland, George who had already had a cunning plan. He just sat there and forged documents required from their parents to get a passport.

In a journey that George became treasurer. Because he likes to steal, he embezzled the money so that his friends pay a portion of the cost-cost.

When they returned to the university, Beta very sorry and he acknowledged all his sins to his father. Then he invited George to attend a prayer meeting at the home of a friend. They go together. "I have never before seen a praying on his knees," says the comment George, who later became a world famous because of the power of prayer.

George feels awkward in the alliance, because the atmosphere is strange. He even apologized for his presence there. "Come often, doors and our hearts open to you," the host was inviting him with pleasure.

After two songs of praise, a chapter of the Bible was read. Then another hymn and at the time the host was praying, a feeling of joy and peace arise in the day George Müller. On the way home, with great joy he said to Beta, "All our former pleasures are nothing compared to what we experienced tonight."

Christ has touched the hearts of George Müller in prayer, and since then he is living the life that has changed.

Then he moved to England, where he became famous as a believer. He established five orphanages in Bristol that can accommodate two thousand children. During his life he was taking care of orphans 9975 people and receive fifty thousand special answer to prayer.
